15 Halloween Fine Motor Activities

October 6, 2015 By Erica Leggiero, M.S. Ed. Leave a Comment

Halloween is just around the corner, and these fun Halloween fine motor activities are so cute to make with your little ones.

What child doesn’t love Halloween? Halloween is a great holiday to bring in some fine motor practice, and most kids will be so into the activity, they won’t even realize what skill they’re building.

Why build fine motor skills? Young children need to be able to hold and use tools such as pencils and scissors when they get to school. Their little hands and fingers need strength in order to hold a pencil properly and be able to write, so one of the best things we can do for our young children at home or in a classroom is to find fun activities to help them build these skills.

And Halloween is just the perfect time to do it!
