Beautiful Rainbow World Book Review

October 29, 2014 By Erica Leggiero, M.S. Ed. Leave a Comment

Today I get to share with you my review of one of the most beautiful multicultural books for children I’ve seen in a long time! This amazing book is all about celebrating the diversity of children all around the world. The book is called Beautiful Rainbow World and it is created by Suzee Ramirez and Lynne Raspet. The book is based on the beautifully written song “Beautiful Rainbow World” by Daria Marmaluk-Hajioannou.

Multicultural Book for Children

This book is a bright, lovely photography book featuring children from all around the world. The stunning photographs and child-like innocence presented in the pictures is appealing to all ages.

This 77-page book features images that will delight children, students, teachers, and parents alike. This book is a great one to have in your child’s collection, in your classroom library, in your school library, or just as a coffee table book. The book celebrates culture and diversity with images of children from various countries around the world. If you collect multicultural books for children, this one definitely belongs in your collection!

The images show that the children are enjoying life and simple moments are captured.

Beautiful Rainbow World Lyrics:

Today I woke up to see
A beautiful rainbow world
Won’t you dream it along with me?
A beautiful rainbow world

Beautiful rainbow, beautiful rainbow
Beautiful rainbow world

Red, black, yellow, brown and white,
A beautiful rainbow world
Dancing together in the light
A beautiful rainbow world

No one lost or left behind
Beautiful rainbow world
Each one their own treasure finds
A beautiful rainbow world

Looking through eyes, brown green or blue
A beautiful rainbow world
And hair that’s perfect just for you
A beautiful rainbow world

Languages and customs, all delight A beautiful rainbow world We’re so different, yet so alike
A beautiful rainbow world

Joyful laughter as we play
A beautiful rainbow world
Hugging and loving, every day
A beautiful rainbow world

Words and music by Daria Marmaluk-Hajioannou
